Restaurants in Les Villages du Bachat (Chamrousse 1700)
Le K-Dox is right next door to our apartments at Asters and is open for lunch and dinner during February. It serves great burgers and if you're hungry after a day on the slopes, you can double-up or even triple-up your burger. The salads are awesome too. Across the road at the foot of the slopes, you'll be able to eat lunch on the terrace or just enjoy a drink and soak up the sun in one of the red deckchairs.

If you love pizzas, you'll love the White Deer. Open in the evenings, it offers both eat-in and take-away pizzas. As well as pizzas with the the traditional tomato-based sauce (pizza rouge), the White Deer also specialises in pizzas with a creamy topping (pizza blanches) and the eponymous White Deer pizza is one of Allez Ski's favourites. The White Deer also serves fantastic salads. Wide range of ice cream flavours.

You'll be able to enjoy mountain specialities right on your doorstep at Le Chalet. As its name suggests, the restaurant has a chalet-style feel inside that always seems to make the fondue and tartiflette taste even better. As well as an extensive menu of main course dishes, make sure that you enjoy one of their homemade desserts. The crêpes are always a good choice. Le Chalet offers take-away too.

At the heart of Les Villages du Bachat is Le Bachat. There are all the usual French and mountain classics on the menu and food is excellent. A great choice for dinner after watching sunset from the terrace which offers stunning views of the mountains in the distance. Table football and pool table will keep the children (and adults) happy inside whilst the nearby sledging slope will keep the children happy outside.

Allez Ski's favourite restaurants in Chamrousse 1650
This is probably Allez Ski's favourite restaurant in Chamrousse and is well-worth taking the FREE bus from Chamrousse 1700 to Chamrousse 1650. Expect a wonderful mountain experience with, firstly, a welcome from the local family that owns and runs the restaurant, secondly, a real Alpine atmosphere with the decor, and thirdly, all the 'spécialités de montagne 'including raclette, tartiflette and fondue.

If you like meat, you're in for a real treat at L'Écureuil. Allez Ski has enjoyed both the Côte de Boeuf and the Epaule d'Agneau Confite. Each time the meat was delicious but the best French fries we've ever tasted did their best to steal the show... and there were plenty of them too with the fries being served on a big silver sharing platter. Raclette, tartiflette and fondue are also on the menu.
