No two ski days in Chamrousse need ever be the same. Your ski pass is your ticket to explore the whole of this wonderful 350 acre ski area in the 'Massif de Belledonne' where 90km of pistes are waiting to be explored.

 

Pistes range from gentle nursery slopes to the challenging Olympic Downhills to the fun snowparks. There really is something for everyone in Chamrousse whether you and your family are regular skiers or this will be your fitst ever holiday.

 

The network of 16 lifts, including the flagship 8-person gondola to the summit and 6 different chair lifts, neatly link up all of the 41 different pistes.

 

The ski area extends from 1,400m right up to 2,250m (850m vertical drop) and the longest run is 3km. Chamrousse's mid-season snow record is excellent but the resort also benefits from snow cannons that cover over 30km of piste.

 

Chamrousse even offer floodlit skiing on Thursday nights during the school holidays and this is included on your normal 6 day ski pass.

 

You will notice that ski/snowboard packs are based on ability. If you are a beginner, do not be tempted to go for the 'top-of-the-range' skis thinking they will be better. The skis are deliberately designed and handpicked to help differing ability skiers progress.
